SUPPORT NICKOLAJ!

Monday, September 15th, 2008

“Every Life Deserves Hope”

Please support our fellow Bunchkin Nickolaj!  I am blogging to let you guys know that I have registered for AIDS Walk Los Angeles and am very excited about the event on Sunday, October 19th. This is a very important issue to me so I have set an ambitious fundraising goal. I want to do as much as I can to make a difference in the lives of men, women, and children affected by HIV and AIDS. Even though there has been a lot of publicity about drug treatments which are prolonging some people’s lives, they don’t work for everyone and there is still no cure in sight. Moreover, young people are still getting infected at alarmingly high rates.

I want your help. Will you please sponsor me for the AIDS Walk? Just click on the website address here to enter my personalized web page and charge your donation. Thank you, in advance, for supporting this important cause benefiting APLA and for showing that you join me in wanting to end this epidemic. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. Also, please help spread the words!

Jay Chou World Tour in LA – The pictures

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

I had an awesome time at the Jay Chou concert. It could have been better though:

1. The concert felt like it was a marketing opportunity for Nan Quan Mama.
2. Jay changed outfits too many times – he’d sing a song, change, sing a song, change … There was a lot of waiting for him to come out again.
3. They kept pretending the concert was over when it really wasn’t.
4. It started half an hour late.
5. Merchandise was poor quality, unavailable (you had to place an order) and they didn’t even have his CD.

I still had tons of fun! I think Jay sounds better in person because you can actually hear him clearly. He didn’t speak a word of English. Not even a hello or a merry christmas. I guess he’s just too cool for that.

I sat at the balcony all the way to the side so these were the best I could do with pictures:

Wahoo’s Fish Taco – Nothing to wahoo about

Thursday, October 11th, 2007

I love fish tacos. The best one I had was in Mexico where it only cost about a dollar. Wahoo’s was a disappointment. I wanted a battered fish taco, just like the ones I ate in Mexico, but they didn’t even have that. I used to dream of having more Wahoo’s around the Bay Area but now, I’m thankful for Rubio’s dollar fish taco tuesdays. Delicious!

Spark Woodfire Grill – Can fries get any better?

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

The Kobe beef burgers were awesome, and ordering “medium-rare” actually meant getting medium-rare. What I really fell it love with was their fries. Each fry was consistenly hot and crispy.

JONASAPPROVED!
